Alabama White BBQ Sauce

Every Alabama chef has their own recipe for this barbecue staple. Chef Rob’s version adds horseradish for a sharp, spicy bite, yielding a deliciously tangy sauce that makes smoked chicken sing and elevates just about every other protein there is.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low fat mayo (or low fat Greek yogurt)
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1½ tbsps. prepared horseradish
  • 1 tbsp. ground mustard
  • 1 tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2.  Slather on chicken, pork, veggies or any other savory favorite.
