Every Alabama chef has their own recipe for this barbecue staple. Chef Rob’s version adds horseradish for a sharp, spicy bite, yielding a deliciously tangy sauce that makes smoked chicken sing and elevates just about every other protein there is.
Ingredients
- 1 cup low fat mayo (or low fat Greek yogurt)
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1½ tbsps. prepared horseradish
- 1 tbsp. ground mustard
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. paprika
- ¼ tsp. cayenne
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients.
- Slather on chicken, pork, veggies or any other savory favorite.
